Job description of staff nurse Job Title: Staff Nurse Department: Nursing Reports To: Nurse Manager / Supervisor Location: Advance Orthopaedic and Maternity Centre , Road number - 5B, Gandhinagar ,near Patliputra railway station Patna Seeking a skilled Staff Nurse for our Advanced Orthopaedic and Maternity Centre. Provide quality nursing care to orthopaedic and maternity patients, administer treatments, monitor progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to orthopaedic and maternity patients. Administer medications and treatments. Monitor vital signs and report changes. Assist with procedures and wound care. Provide pre/post-operative care for orthopaedic patients. Provide care to mothers and newborns (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum). Educate patients and families. Maintain patient records. Collaborate with the healthcare team. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Respond to emergencies. Qualifications: BSc Nursing or GNM. Valid Bihar Nursing Council registration. 0 to 5 years relevant hospital experience (orthopaedics/maternity preferred). Strong clinical and communication skills.
